L’Arche Boston North’s The Longest Table

On August 19^th L’Arche Boston North hosted its signature event, The Longest Table to a sold-out crowd. Originally planned to mirror its inaugural event held in 2019, The Longest Table was supposed to be just that…a 200-foot table spanning the full length of Wingate Street in Haverhill, MA. with participating restaurants setting up portable kitchens along the sidewalk to serve the guests. However, due to Tropical Storm Fred, a location change was called to avoid cancelling, and the event was held at Bradford Country Club.

Even the last-minute pivots (that we’ve all come to expect) couldn’t derail the dedication and perseverance of Jennifer Matthews and her team at L’Arche Boston North. As the Official Clean-Up/Gold Sponsor, we were lucky enough to be part of the supporting team that made it happen. Ensuring safety and confidence was an important part of the event being a success and our Certified: SERVPRO Clean program contributed to that by disinfecting all the hard surfaces before guests arrived, and again during the breakdown and clean-up of the event.

The group of SERVPRO volunteers included owners, managers, technicians, and admin, all coming together to get the job done to perfection. Going the extra mile to support events in the communities we service is just how we do business. Knowing you were an integral part of bringing community together is the reward. It’s what makes SERVPRO a different kind of restoration company.
